Airhug checks your calendar and offers real open times on a call, in a text, or in chat. It books, reschedules and confirms, following the rules you set for each kind of appointment.

## Built-in calendar

Every workspace has a built-in calendar. You do not need an outside calendar to start. Use **Calendar** to see the week, add or edit appointments, set availability, and see attendance.

## Rules per appointment type

Set lengths, which team members can take it, and the service it belongs to. An appointment type can be set to **request only**, so a teammate approves it before it is final.

## Calendar sync (Business)

Connect an external calendar under **Settings → Calendar**. Airhug then offers times that are open in both places and writes bookings back. Calendar sync is part of the Business plan.

## Reminders and follow-ups

Reminders that cut no-shows, and follow-ups that bring people back, are set up as [journeys](https://docs.airhug.ai/product/journeys-and-reporting.md). Customers confirm or reschedule by replying to a text.

## Time zones

Set your **operating time zone** under **Settings → Company setup**. New schedules and reminder rules start in that time zone. Nothing already saved changes when you change it.

## Checks

- Ask the AI on a call for an appointment. It offers open times from your calendar.
- The booking appears in **Calendar** and on the person's record.
